The time and billing feature was added later in the product's development and had to be engineered around the traditional general ledger accounting functionality within the product. Timeslips by Sage was designed solely for the purpose of helping professionals in the service industry account for and bill their time and expenses on client engagements, thus for a service oriented company it is easier and more intuitive to use.

Timeslips by Sage Remote Ideal for laptop users, this stand-alone version of the time and expense entry portion of Timeslips by Sage allows mobile professionals to create time and expense slips while away from the office. In turn, Timeslips by Sage creates a file that keeps Remote in sync with every new client and activity.
